The US GENIUS Act becomes Public Law 119-27

On 18 July 2025 S.1582, the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act, became Public Law 119-27. Enactment is not the same as the later effective date for issuer obligations, which the statute ties to eighteen months after enactment or 120 days after final implementing rules, whichever is earlier.
